Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using any application provided by Semantic Devs (“we,” “us,” or “our”)—specifically including Semantic Vision, ComplianceGuard AI, KeyDispatch, and DraftGenius (collectively, the “Services”)—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must uninstall the Apps immediately.
2. Description of Services
2.1. Semantic Vision
Provides AI-powered image analysis to generate alt text and SEO improvements for product images.
2.2. ComplianceGuard AI
Provides automated auditing of store policies and visual trust elements to assist with platform compliance (e.g., Google Merchant Center).
2.3. KeyDispatch
Automates the inventory management and email delivery of digital license keys upon purchase.
2.4. DraftGenius
Provides AI-powered parsing of unstructured text (emails, messages) to automate the creation of Draft Orders, customer profiles, and address verification within Shopify.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Apps in compliance with all applicable laws and Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account.
4. Specific Disclaimers & Liability (DraftGenius)
IMPORTANT: By using DraftGenius, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
4.1. AI Accuracy & Human Review
DraftGenius utilizes Generative AI (Google Gemini) to interpret natural language. You acknowledge that AI models may occasionally hallucinate, misinterpret quantities, select incorrect variants, or misspell customer details. You agree that you are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all Draft Order details (items, prices, quantities, and customer data) before finalizing or collecting payment. We are not liable for revenue loss, inventory discrepancies, or customer disputes resulting from unreviewed AI outputs.
4.2. Address Verification
Our address verification feature utilizes third-party APIs (Google Maps Platform). While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that a verified address is deliverable. You assume full responsibility for shipping decisions. Semantic Devs is not liable for lost packages, returned shipments, or shipping carrier fees resulting from incorrect or undeliverable addresses, regardless of whether the address was “verified” by the App.
4.3. Customer Data Management
DraftGenius creates and updates customer records in your Shopify Admin based on your input. We are not liable for the overwriting of existing customer data if you authorize the App to merge or update a customer profile.
5. Specific Disclaimers (Other Apps)
- ComplianceGuard AI: This tool provides suggestions based on common guidelines. It does not constitute legal advice. We do not guarantee that using this App will prevent account suspension by third parties (e.g., Google or Meta).
- KeyDispatch: You are responsible for ensuring your inventory of license keys is valid and functional. We are not liable for the distribution of invalid keys uploaded by you.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Semantic Devs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Services.
In no event shall our total liability for all claims related to the Services exceed the amount you paid us for the use of the Services during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
7. Service Availability & Third Parties
Our Apps rely on third-party platforms, including Shopify, Google Cloud, and OpenAI. We are not responsible for service interruptions, downtime, or data errors caused by these third-party providers.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
